Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom: Choice Song for Daisy Dove

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom sing for their fans to vote. After all, that's important for the next generation – and therefore for Daisy.

Singer Katy Perry (36, "Smile") and Hollywood star Orlando Bloom (43, "The Lord of the Rings") urge their fans to vote for their two-month-old daughter Daisy Dove. The US presidential elections will take place on November 3rd, incumbents Donald Trump (74) and Joe Biden (77) are fighting for the White House. Perry and Bloom have now even published a little song on Instagram to convince their followers to cast their vote at the polling station.

"Mom & Dad are here to remind you that your voice matters," Perry wrote of the vocal post. In the video, Bloom has a coffee while Perry sings, among other things, "Get up and smile and go to the elections now." Since it is too tight for a postal vote, their fans should go to the ballot box in person, Perry continues. Bloom explains, "This is for future generations, by the way. That little ditty will be for Daisy Dove." Perry himself has apparently already voted, her British partner adds: "I can't, but I ask you all to do it for my Daisy Dove."

Daisy was born in August. It's the first child for Perry and the second for Bloom, who has nine-year-old Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, 37. The actor and singer have been engaged since February 2019.
