Singer Katy Perry (35, "Roar") will be a mother for the first time in 2020 – probably in summer. The child's father is her partner, actor Orlando Bloom (43, "Carnival Row"). He already has his nine-year-old son Flynn with model Miranda Kerr (36), with whom he was married for around three years. Perry has now revealed the gender of her offspring via Instagram.
"It's a girl," the singer happily announces in a picture that shows the broad grinning Bloom with pink cream on her face – apparently part of a "Gender Reveal Party", even if the two hardly celebrated in times of the Corona crisis should have.
Wedding postponed
"Katy was really looking forward to going to the altar pregnant," an unspecified source had told People magazine in early March. Together with 150 guests, they would have wanted to get married in Japan in early summer. Instead, the couple canceled the wedding because of the corona crisis.
