Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom announced the birth of their daughter on social media on the night of August 26-27. The girl's first name is adorable!

The births of celebrity babies are definitely following! A few days after Lea Michele and Camilla Luddington both welcomed a baby boy, it’s Katy Perry’s turn to become a mom. On the night of August 26-27, Orlando Bloom and the singer announced the birth of their baby girl on the UNICEF Twitter and Instagram account (of which they are ambassadors). The couple also took the opportunity to reveal the adorable first name of the girl: "Daisy", which means "Marguerite" in French. A name reminiscent of the title of one of Katy Perry's new songs, "Daisies".
"We have been bathed in love and wonder since the arrival of our perfectly healthy daughter", wrote the young parents. Very committed to Unicef, they asked their fans as a birth gift, donations for children and families in difficulty.
This is Katy Perry's first child. Orlando Bloom is on his side, already the father of a little boy, Flynn, born to his couple with Miranda Kerr. The actor was, however, very excited to be the father of a little girl. No doubt he's going to be a real daddy hen.
