Will she be back on stage soon? Katy Perry is slated to get her own show in Las Vegas.
Celine Dion (52), Britney Spears (39), Lady Gaga (34) and Elton John (73) have already received this honor: Now Katy Perry (36, "Smile") is to get her own show in Las Vegas. As the industry website "Billboard" reports, the singer will be the star of the new World Casino Resort in the gambling metropolis. Production in the 5,000-seat theater is due to start at the end of 2021. The hotel and casino are due to open this summer.
At the end of August 2020, Katy Perry released her last album to date, "Smile". Her daughter Daisy Dove was born that same month. Her father is actor Orlando Bloom (44, "The Lord of the Rings"), with whom Perry has been dating since 2016 and engaged since 2019. Perry is currently on the jury for "American Idol", the US equivalent of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".
