Katy Perry (35) shared details about her fifth studio album via Instagram. It will be called "Smile" and should live up to its name. Fittingly, Perry poses on the cover of the record with a big red clown nose. The singer writes: "I wrote the title song of the album when I came from one of the darkest times of my life and had lost my smile. The entire album is my journey back to the light – with stories about resilience, hope and love. "

The album is scheduled for release on August 14 this year, the single "Smile" will be available from midnight (local time) on Friday. Previously, she had already released the single "Daisies" in May. Perry is currently expecting her first child with Hollywood star Orlando Bloom (43, "The Lord of the Rings"). Another song on the new record, "What Makes A Woman", is said to have been dedicated to her future daughter.
