(CercleFinance.com) – KBC Bank and Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) have finalized the transaction relating to the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD, responsible for RBI’s banking operations in Bulgaria.
The transaction also concerns the subsidiaries wholly owned by Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria), namely Raiffeisen Leasing Bulgaria, Raiffeisen Asset Management (Bulgaria), Raiffeisen Insurance Broker and Raiffeisen Service.
The acquisition is for a total amount of 1,009 million euros payable in cash.
“Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) is one of the leading universal banks in Bulgaria, offering a full range of banking, asset management, leasing and insurance brokerage services to individuals, SMEs and corporates,” the group said. .
