Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant were in the spotlight at the MOCA Gala. They presented themselves to the photographers in love and kissing.
Hollywood star Keanu Reeves (59) and his long-time girlfriend, the visual artist Alexandra Grant (54), stole the show at the MOCA Gala at The Geffen Contemporary Museum in Los Angeles. In love, patient and friendly, the couple posed for the photographers on Saturday evening. Even a tender kiss in the lobby of the museum can be seen in the pictures, as “Mail Online” shows, among others.
Both of them dressed up for the event. Dressed in a sharp gray suit with a matching scarf, he oozed charm as he wrapped his arm around his more striking girlfriend, who shone in a turquoise sleeveless satin dress with sophisticated cutouts at the side. The artist kept her make-up subtle and natural; she had her white hair pinned back with a few braided strands. The silver clutch sparkled, as did her earrings, necklace and bracelets.
Friendship turned into love – couple’s debut in 2019
Reeves and Grant made their red carpet couple debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in November 2019. This revelation sparked great interest, and the artist spoke of a flood of inquiries about this romance from all corners. “I think every single person I knew called me the first week of November, and that’s fascinating,” she told British Vogue a few months later“.
The couple, who run a publishing company together called X Artists’ Books, have been close friends for decades. At some point friendship turned into love. Alexandra Grant’s girlfriend, actress Jennifer Tilly (65), revealed in February 2020 that the couple had been together “for years.” “I remember a few years ago, about a year and a half ago, Alexandra said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,’ and I was like, ‘Wait a minute. What? What? What? What?'” the actress told the New York Post at the time.
While the exact date of their meeting remains uncertain, the relationship dates back to at least 2011, which coincided with the release of her book “Ode to Happiness.”
