The revealers of this unusual information are our colleagues from the local daily The mountain this Wednesday, December 27 who told how they were able to confirm that the global star had indeed come to Brive-la-Gaillarde and even in a small neighboring village, Branceilles, of only 278 souls.

But no answer was then conclusive. It was finally thanks to a fan blog that the reporters found the solution to their question. They learned that Marcia Grant, the mother of Alexandra Grant, the actor’s companion, would live in Corrèze. A private plane arriving on December 23 at Brive-la-Gaillarde airport with Keanu Reeves on board added weight to the theory. Eventually, The mountain managed to contact Marcia Grant, who confirmed everything: “Yes, they were both there. Thanks for your call, but they left again yesterday [mardi 26 décembre, NDLR.]“ she told them, confirming that it was a first for the star, who would have “loved” : “[Keanu Reeves et Alexandra Grant] really liked the food” she even added. But Keanu Reeves is not not the only American star to come in our country for the holidays. In Thonon-les-Bains, earlier in the month, fans of Wolverine and The Greatest Showman may have thought they were hallucinating seeing their idol Hugh Jackman stroll through a Christmas market, buying candles. However, the Australian actor was indeed present and confirmed it on social networks by posting images of his trip. Only problem: the newly single actor declared himself to be in Geneva, when he was actually in our French regions! A small mistake easily forgivable for the Hollywood star.
