Kelly Preston: Family said goodbye to their deathbed

Kelly Preston has lost the fight against breast cancer. Her brother Chris Palzis has now spoken to her about the last moments.

Kelly Travon (1962-2020), the wife of John Travolta (66, "Pulp Fiction"), died last Sunday evening (July 12) at the age of 57 after suffering from breast cancer. Travolta announced this on Instagram on Monday. In an interview with the British "Daily Mail", Preston's younger brother Chris Palzis spoke about the sad farewell to his sister: "It is heartbreaking. We have just returned from her deathbed in Florida. We were all there together," says the 51st -Year old.

The family was devastated. "We all still mourn. She was our light and a warrior, you will always remember how she got the best out of people," said Palzis, who came from Kelly Preston's mother's marriage to Peter Palzis. Kelly Preston's own father died when the actress was three years old.

She kept her fight against breast cancer private

A spokesman for the family had told People on Monday that Preston had kept the disease private. "She has been receiving medical treatment for some time, supported by her closest family and friends," the statement said. She was a bright and loving soul who always cared for others and brought everything she touched to life.

John Travolta and Kelly Preston were married for around 29 years. The children Ella (20), Benjamin (born 2010) and Jett come from their marriage. The latter died in 2009 at the age of 16 after a seizure.
