Actress Kelly Preston (1962-2020) died unexpectedly at the age of 57. She has lost her two-year fight against breast cancer, as her husband, Hollywood star John Travolta (66) announced on Monday (July 13) via Instagram. Her daughter Ella Travolta (20) paid tribute to her mother on her official Instagram account with touching words. "I've never met someone who is as brave, strong, beautiful and loving as you," the 20-year-old writes on a photo of the deceased.

Ella further attests to her mother that she has a charisma that will never go away and "immediately makes everyone around you happy". Ella Travolta is the second child of John Travolta and Kelly Preston and their only daughter. The first-born son Jett (1992-2009) died in 2009 at the age of 16 after a seizure on family vacation in the Bahamas. The youngest offspring, Benjamin Travolta, was born in 2010.
