Accused of killing a 71-year-old psychiatrist, former supermodel Kelsey Turner was sentenced to 29 years in prison.
She was one of supermodels the most prominent. Having posed for Playboy or Max, Kelsey Turner has pleaded guilty to the murder of a 71-year-old psychiatrist who gave him money to pay his bills. The facts date back to 2019. Thomas Buchard travels to California, to Las Vegas where the model lives. His goal is clear: he wants to end their two-year relationship, during which the man would have paid him an allowance. The psychiatrist is found dead in the trunk of an abandoned car. During the investigation and after the autopsy, it is revealed that the victim died after being hit on the head.
It is the new girlfriend of Thomas Buchard who gives the alert and who immediately designates Kelsey Turner. She tells investigators that her current companion would not have paid less than 300,000 dollars to the model. “He helped everyone. Anyone who had a sad story… So people abused him for that”, she explained. According CBS, the top model would not have acted alone. Indeed, her boyfriend and her roommate would be accomplices. The first is then charged with murder while the other is accused of complicity. During the investigation, it is revealed that the model would have had an argument with her ex-companion. Her boyfriend then allegedly hit her with a bat. “Instead of calling for help or taking her to the hospital, Kelsey allegedly told her boyfriend to keep hitting the psychiatrist.”
She hopes to reduce her sentence
He pleaded guilty to second degree murder and conspiracy. He was sentenced by the courts to a maximum of 45 years in prison. Kelsey Turner, she hopes to see her sentence reduced. She thus pleaded guilty to second degree murder but still maintains her innocence.. “Kelsey Turner thus acknowledges that there is enough evidence for a conviction, even if she considers herself not guilty. In exchange, she will be eligible for parole in 10 years.”
