Kena: Bridge of Spirits is undoubtedly one of the games that will have marked the year 2021. The title ofEmberLab is about to celebrate its first birthday in September, and it has decided to offer some gifts to the players to celebrate. We learn thata big anniversary update is on the way, in addition to the arrival of the game on Steam.
A busy birthday
Reserved for a time at the Epic Games Store, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will finally make its way to the Steam platform in a few weeks. Exclusivity ends September 27date on which you will be able to get the game on the Valve platform.
And on top of that, on the same date, the Anniversary update will be available on all platforms where you can find the game, so even on PS4 and PS5. This update will have the merit of bringing a New Game + mode very requested, which we discover in a trailer broadcast by IGN. It will retain all abilities, upgrades, costumes, and Burps, with even new types of enemies to fight and even tougher bosses with additional phases.
This update will also include a new mechanic: Charm Stones. These stones give access to a bonus and a penalty for Kena, which means that they must be chosen with care. They can be found all over the world, but also across the Trials of the Spirit Guide, a brand new game mode that will be divided into three trials:
- Obstacle course
- Defense Against Waves of Enemies
- Boss Knockback
By achieving all these challenges, you can also get exclusive outfits for Kenawith color variations. A nice big update that will be free, to the delight of fans of the game.
