At only 26 years old, Kendji Girac is one of the greatest artists of his generation. Discovered in The Voice, alongside Fréro Delavega, the singer quickly made a career, culminating at the top of the charts and multiplying the awards. Being famous has its perks and opens doors to prestigious events you never thought you’d attend. Kendji was in the front row at the Cannes Film Festival this year. The interpreter of Mama’s eyes climbed the steps of the palace one by one for the premiere of the film Armageddon Time by James Gray, while in class. What he didn’t know at that time was that he was going to fall on his childhood sweetheart.

If such figures of the cinema put stars in her eyes, it was nothing next to Julia Roberts, also present during the climb of the steps. The latter was none other than Kendji Girac’s love crush when he was younger. These presentations quickly led to charitable collaborations: “Eva has become close, since the time that I sing at the Global Gift Gala that she hosts every year. An event that raises funds for different associations.” With such contact, Kendji may one day realize his dream with his Pretty Woman.
