While Kendrick Lamar’s new album will be released tonight, at 12:01 a.m. precisely, the rapper has unveiled the cover that will illustrate his project.
Kendrick Lamar always seems to take good care of the release of his opuses. Very discreet, both on social networks and in real life, it is a real event when he comes out of his silence. And when he does, it’s usually to unveil a new project.
The artist from Compton, in the United States, had therefore reappeared through his various social platforms since April 18. He thus announced the release of his fifth album scheduled for this Friday, May 13.
And it is with the track “The Heart Part 5” that Kendrick Lamar chose to introduce his LP (Long Play) on May 8, whose clip using deep fake technology stirred his fans.
Kendrick Lamar surprises
This Wednesday, he created the surprise again, since he unveiled the cover of his fifth studio album, which is entitled “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers”. And the surprise is significant since to illustrate it, K-Dot, his nickname, is staged under the lens of the artist photographer, Renell Medrano.

But Kung fu Kenny does not stop there since he is not alone in this shot. Posing in a room, he is standing, dressed in trousers with a gun stuck between his back and his belt, wearing a crown of thorns, and a child in his arms. Opposite him, on the bed, a woman is leaning against the wall breastfeeding a baby.
And according to the American media TMZ, these people present, would be none other than his family. This “family bonus,” would show Kendrick with his three-year-old daughter, and longtime girlfriend, Whitney Alford. The baby would therefore be the newest member of their family. Moreover, in his new single, Kendrick Lamar makes a reference to his children, and to his wife.
