April 6 (Reuters) – Kepler Cheuvreux announced on Wednesday the appointment of Stéphane Bouret, the group’s former Global Head of Sales, as Global Head of Equity Brokerage.

Mathieu Labille, who joined the French equity broker in July 2015 as Deputy Director of Research, is appointed Deputy Global Head of Equity Brokerage while Chris McConville, a former UBS employee, becomes Global Head of Execution Services, says the press release from Kepler Cheuvreux.

“These appointments mark an important step forward in our equity brokerage and execution activities, the generational transition is a priority for the Kepler Cheuvreux group,” declared its chairman of the supervisory board Laurent Quirin.

The management and employees of Kepler Cheuvreux are the group’s majority shareholders (27.53%). Other shareholders include Atlas Merchant Capital (19.47%), Belfius (5.02%), Caisse des Dépôts (5.02%), Crédit Agricole CIB (14.62%), ERES (Edmond de Rothschild Equity Strategies) (7.46%), Rabobank (5.02%), Swedbank (5.83%) and UniCredit (10.02%).
