(Boursier.com) — Kering announces the appointment of Gianfilippo Testa as CEO of Alexander McQueen, effective May 2022. Gianfilippo Testa will report to François-Henri Pinault.
Gianfilippo Testa succeeds Emmanuel Gintzburger, who has decided to leave Kering to take up a new professional challenge outside the Group. An Italian national, Gianfilippo Testa has a remarkable career in the Luxury sector in Europe and Asia. He began his career at TAG Heuer in 2002 and then held various positions within LVMH, notably at Fendi in Italy, Japan and Hong Kong. He joined Kering in 2016 as President of Gucci Greater China before becoming, in 2019, President of the EMEA zone and Vice-President Global Retail of Gucci.
As CEO of Alexander McQueen, Gianfilippo Testa will be responsible for accelerating the development of the British Luxury House in order to realize its full potential.
