Kering appoints Gianfilippo Testa to head Alexander McQueen

PARIS (Reuters) – The luxury group Kering announced on Monday the appointment of Gianfilippo Testa as managing director of its British brand Alexander McQueen from May 2022.

Gianfilippo Testa will replace Emmanuel Gintzburger, who is leaving the group to become CEO of rival Italian brand Versace.

“As CEO of Alexander McQueen, Gianfilippo Testa will be responsible for accelerating the development of the British Luxury House in order to realize its full potential,” Kering said in a press release.
