Kerry Washington sends prayers to her ‘movie husband’ Jamie Foxx in throwback photo after concerns about his health.
After it became known that Jamie Foxx (55) had to deal with a “medical complication” and had to be hospitalized, his colleague Kerry Washington (46) now pays tribute to the actor.
On Thursday, the actress shared on Instagram a throwback photo, in which she hugs her colleague’s shoulder and wrote, “A post of appreciation to Jamie Foxx. Sending all my love and prayers to my film husband.” She also added several heart and prayer hands emojis.
Husband and wife on camera
Among other things, Washington and Foxx were in front of the camera in 2004 for the biopic “Ray”, in which Foxx embodied the legendary singer Ray Charles (1930-2004) and Washington his second wife Della Batrice Howard Robinson (93). In 2012, they slipped back into the role of husband and wife: In Quentin Tarantino’s western film “Django Unchained”, Foxx played the slave Django and Washington played his wife Broomhilda, who was also enslaved.
Jamie Foxx’ daughter Corinne, 29, had on Wednesday (April 12) in a statement on Instagram made public that her father had suffered a “medical complication”. The 29-year-old did not explain the exact background, but her father was on the mend.
