There have just been new allegations against Kevin Spacey. Now famous friends have called for the actor to return to Hollywood.

Liam Neeson (71) and Sharon Stone (66), along with Stephen Fry (66) and F. Murray Abraham (84), have opted for the return of Kevin Spacey (64) pronounced after Hollywood. There had previously been further allegations against the actor in the new documentary “Spacey Unmasked”. He has always rejected all allegations.

“Kevin is a good person and a man of character,” Neeson told the Telegraph and added that he was “deeply saddened” to learn of the allegations against the “House of Cards” actor.

Spacey has not worked in Hollywood since multiple men accused him of sexual misconduct starting in 2017. Several lawsuits against him were dropped, and in July 2023 he was acquitted in a trial in London. In the new documentary, however, ten more men came forward with allegations. Spacey defended himself against the allegations on social media: “I will not stand idly by as a dying broadcaster attacks me with a one-sided ‘documentary’ in a desperate attempt to gain ratings.”

“He is a genius”

Liam Neeson went on to say about his fellow actor that Spacey was “one of our best artists on stage and in front of the camera. Our industry needs him and misses him very much.” Sharon Stone added in the Telegraph: “I can’t wait to see Kevin back at work. He’s a genius. He’s so elegant and funny, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most will ever know about us.”

F. Murray Abraham told the newspaper, among other things, about Spacey: “He’s a good man, I stand by him.” Stephen Fry criticized the documentary: Continuing to “harass and hunt” Spacey, how could that be “seen as appropriate and justified?”

Kevin Spacey gives TV interview

Kevin Spacey himself spoke with Chris Cuomo (53) on Thursday in a “NewsNation” interview – his first television appearance in years. He said he was “so much happier today and living a more authentic and open life.” He also explained: “Now I want to prove that I am a man of great character.” The support of his celebrity friends means a lot to him, he added, “it’s very gratifying.” He “just wants to get back to work,” said Spacey.
