The Bundesliga starts its 61st season on Friday. Fans who want to see everything live need these two subscriptions.

Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich… For more than a decade, the Bundesliga has only known one club that can lift the championship trophy at the end of the season. Last season it was extremely close, but because Borussia Dortmund couldn’t win in a home game against Mainz 05 on the last day of the game, Bayern celebrated their eleventh title in a row. If you want to follow the entire 2023/24 season live, you can do so on these channels.

As in previous years, the pay-TV broadcaster Sky and the sports streaming portal DAZN share the broadcasting rights of the Bundesliga. Nothing will change in the already established structure either: DAZN exclusively shows the games on Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. and the Sunday games at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There are 106 games in total.

Fans and interested parties can see all other games in Germany’s top division live on Sky. That means 166 games across 33 conferences on Saturday afternoons at 15:30 and during English weeks at 20:30. In addition, Sky has the broadcasting rights to the individual games of the conferences and the relegation games (a total of 170 matches) as well as the Saturday evening games at 7:30 p.m. and the Supercup (33 games).

Bundesliga on free TV: A rare pleasure

Sat.1 secured the free TV package and includes three individual games in the first Bundesliga: fans can watch the kick-off between Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich on Friday at 8:30 p.m. live on Sat.1, as well as a game from the last matchday of the first half of the season and the first match day of the second half of the season. On the internet, Sat.1 offers live streams of these games on ran.de, for example the game between Bremen and Bayern on Friday evening at 8:30 p.m.

The package also includes the rights to the first day of the second division, the Supercup and the relegation. In total, there are nine free TV games that have either already been shown on Sat.1 (like the Supercup last weekend) or will be in the future. Keyword second league: With the exception of the Monday evening game, which runs on Sport1, it can only be seen live at all kick-off times on Sky.
