Two 14-year-old boys from Styria planned to use “Russian Roulette” to wipe out their teachers and students. The two youngsters will soon be put on trial.

Recent outbreaks of violence in Austrian schools caused horror. It was recently announced that suspensions in home classes have almost doubled in the past four years. The “Krone” has now learned of another case that leaves you speechless. Pictures of weapons sent on Snapchat Two 14-year-old boys will soon appear before the criminal court in Leoben, as spokeswoman Sabine Anzenberger confirms. “Criminal conspiracy” is the crime that the two milk boys are accused of. As the public prosecutor’s office in Leoben accuses, they are said to have “arranged to carry out a murder together” in January, as the relevant paragraph in the criminal code reads. They said via Snapchat that they wanted to play “Russian Roulette” at their school in Upper Styria. In the game there is only one cartridge in a revolver. The player holds this to his temple and pulls the trigger. If no shot is fired, it is the next player’s turn. The end is certain, someone is bound to die. Regretful Apologies The two wanted to start the death game with two teachers, then it would be their classmates’ turn. They supported this with images of weapons such as knives and soft guns, some of which were collected from the Internet. What they didn’t expect: A student observed their activities and mustered up the courage to report everything to the director. He filed a complaint and confronted the boys. Then they apparently realized what they had done. They apologized ruefully to the affected teachers and students. However, they are not spared from going to court.
