Kim Kardashian was surprised by her family on her 40th birthday. She experienced a sentimental journey back in time.
Kim Kardashian celebrated her 40th birthday on October 21. What to give to a woman who owns just about anything or can buy it with her own money? How about the "most epic surprise party" ever? The wife of rapper Kanye West (43, "Stronger") is now raving about this on Instagram. Her family really worked hard on her special day.
"They re-enacted all of the special birthdays in my life," said Kardashian of a series of photos that were taken that night. From the party decorations to the cake, "simply everything" was like a trip into the past. In the first room, the reality TV star was confronted with his first birthday, including video recordings made by father Robert Kardashian (1944-2003) at the time. "With the same ponies and the same cake, and my father wished me a happy first birthday," explains the 40-year-old.
Even the car was there again
It was followed by rooms for the second, fourth and tenth birthday, "where my sisters performed the exact same dance that they danced for me when I was ten years old". In the 16th birthday room, Kardashian was able to look forward to the car that she had received in 1996. Since she is a "very sentimental person", the joy about so many surprises and troubles of her family was huge.
"After a while, the curtains opened and waitresses came out who happened to be my sisters," continues Kardashian. In the last room, the exact nightclub "where I celebrated all of my 30th birthdays" was recreated – and the party could get going. Kardashian is "eternally grateful" to her family for this special evening.
