“Health problems”: Festival appearances canceled

Kim Petras has canceled all of her summer festival appearances. The German singer cited “health problems” as the reason.
Kim Petras (31) was actually supposed to appear at several festivals in the summer. But now the German singer and Grammy winner has canceled all concerts. The reason is “health problems” as described in shared on her Instagram story. “On medical advice, I had to make this difficult decision not to perform at festivals this summer,” the 31-year-old said in the statement. “I love you so much and I will make it up to you and be back better than ever soon,” she promises her fans.

Petras was scheduled to perform at four festivals this summer. On May 29th she is in the line-up for the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, on June 1st she was announced for the Mighty Hoopla in London, on June 6th she was announced for the Primavera Porto Festival in Portugal and on July 19th she would have in Seattle at the Capitol Hill Block Party.
The singer did not give any details about her health problems. In March she had in the British “Cosmopolitan” unveiledthat she went to therapy after her Grammy success last year.

“Therapy was necessary for me after I had a big song to learn how to turn everything off,” Petras explained. After her great success with “Unholy,” she suddenly found herself “traveling a lot.” She experienced increased attention around herself and “more eyes were on me than ever before.” “Nothing can prepare you for this level of attention,” Petras explained. “It was crazy.” She can recommend therapy to everyone because the music industry can be very hectic.
