As soon as King Charles III. has completed his public comeback appearance in London, his audiences in the palace continue.

King Charles III (75) is not only fit and vital, but also hardworking again. After his comeback appearance last Tuesday (April 30) in London, the monarch held another audience at Buckingham Palace on May 1st. Already on the way from Clarence House towards the palace he was in a good mood.

As the “DailyMail” reports, citing several recordings, Charles waved to some royal fans in London from the car as he went to his next appointment. When he arrived at the palace, he received Letsie III. (60), the King of Lesotho.

The two talked animatedly and shook hands. Charles looked radiant in a light gray suit, which he teamed with a white shirt and a light blue patterned tie, as well as a matching pocket square.

During the audience, wife Camilla (76) invited around 300 guests to the palace to support the Sexual Assault Referral Center. But Charles stayed away from the event.

The king made his first public appearance on April 30 after a long break due to his cancer treatment. He and Camilla visited a chemotherapy ward in London on Tuesday. There, Charles also spoke about his diagnosis, which was a “bit of a shock” for him. Just hours after the public appointment, the British monarch continued his cancer treatment.

Previously, Charles only attended appointments in the palace for a few weeks. Only at Easter did he attend the traditional service in St. George’s Chapel.
