Buckingham Palace announced on February 5th that King Charles III, 75, was suffering from cancer. Although the relationship between Prince Harry, 39, and the royal family is said to be cold, the king’s second son, who lives in the USA, will probably arrive shortly to visit his father. Prince Harry met King Charles III. He spoke about his cancer diagnosis and will be flying home in the coming days, according to the public broadcaster BBC broadcaster said. Among other things The US magazine “People” also reports citing an insider that Harry will travel to the United Kingdom from the United States.

Charles allegedly informed his immediate family – including his first son, Prince William, 41, and Prince Harry – personally about the diagnosis, according to both media outlets. It is not known whether Harry will travel alone or with his family. The royal has been living with his wife, Duchess Meghan, 42, in Montecito, California, since 2020. The couple have two children – son Archie, 4, and daughter Lilibet, 2.

Prostate surgery at the end of January

King Charles III was released from a clinic in London at the end of January after prostate surgery. He appeared in public for the first time on Sunday at an appearance in Sandringham. The palace said on Monday that tests independent of the procedure had diagnosed cancer.

“The subsequent diagnostic tests revealed a form of cancer,” it said in a statement. Charles has already started a regular treatment plan. The king decided to make the diagnosis public to prevent speculation. He also hopes to “contribute to the public’s understanding” of people suffering from cancer.
