Many personalities spoke out shortly after King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis was announced. reported with wishes for a quick recovery.
After King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer. (75), numerous political figures wish the British monarch a speedy recovery. In addition to words from US President Joe Biden (81), the concerned letters include lines from British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak (43) and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (52).
Sunak was among the first to react to the worrying news. “I wish His Majesty a full and speedy recovery,” wrote the politician on the social media platform “X”. He has no doubt that Charles will soon be back to full strength “and I know that the whole country wishes him well.”
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (59) joins in and is also of the opinion that the entire country is keeping its fingers crossed for the king: “Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery to Charles III.” Liz Truss (48), as well former British Prime Minister, send “Best wishes to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family during his cancer treatment. We will be with him in our thoughts and prayers. God Save The King!”
London Mayor Sadiq Khan (53) speaks for the residents the English capital and once again wishes you a speedy and complete recovery. He is looking forward to King Charles III. return to full health as soon as possible. “Like Canadians across the country and people around the world, I am thinking of His Majesty King Charles III as he undergoes cancer treatment,” explains Trudeau meanwhile. “We send him our best wishes – and hope for a speedy and full recovery.”
Joe Biden is also worried about King Charles III.
Meanwhile, US President Biden explains according to the British broadcaster BBC in response to a question from reporters: “Yes, I’m worried about him.” He has also already heard about the diagnosis and hopes to be able to speak to Charles, who is ill, soon.
King Charles III appeared in public for the first time on Sunday at an appearance in Sandringham after an operation for benign prostate enlargement and his discharge from hospital. Buckingham Palace announced on February 5 that Charles had been diagnosed with “a form of cancer” through further testing following surgery. The king has already started a regular treatment plan, it is said. He wanted to make the diagnosis public in order to prevent speculation and “contribute to the public’s understanding” of people suffering from cancer.
