Although Catherine is currently recovering from her planned abdominal surgery, which the Princess of Wales underwent in January, she is said to make it a point to be there for King Charles. The biggest thing the two have in common is their sense of humor: “Charles may seem stuffy, but he has a good sense of humor and Kate can make him laugh wonderfully,” the insider assures Closer Weekly. Regarding the Princess of Wales’s health, it is said: “She is recovering quickly and is slowly returning to her everyday activities.” King Charles is also “in good spirits” given his cancer and is concentrating on getting well again: “He understands the situation, but he is putting his health first so that he can continue to fulfill his role as king for a long time.”
