King Felipe of Spain: He personally brings daughter Leonor to school

At the start of school in Madrid, King Felipe of Spain personally delivered his eldest daughter, Princess Leonor, in front of the building.

The king himself is: Felipe VI. Spain (52) insisted on delivering his daughter, Princess Leonor (14), personally to the Santa Maria de los Rosales school in Madrid on Wednesday (September 9th). As photos show, the Spanish royals wore mouth and nose protection in the car. Other pictures show how the royal schoolgirl's fever was measured before entering the school building in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus.

Later school for Princess Sofía

According to Spanish media reports, the school management recommended that, as a precaution, the students should only come with an accompanying person who is not allowed to enter the facility. Because of this, Papa Felipe never got out of the car. The same applies to Leonor's younger sister, Princess Sofía (13). Due to the staggered start of the grades, lessons for Sofía of Spain will not start until Friday (September 11th). The mother of the two, Queen Letizia (47), had not come.

In Spain, the number of confirmed corona infections has risen to more than half a million. Nearly 30,000 people have now died related to the virus.
