King Felipe VI: Royal family mourns the Corona victims in the country

King Felipe VI of Spain (52), his wife Queen Letizia (47) and their two daughters, Crown Princess Leonor (14) and Princess Sofia (13), took part in a minute's silence. To kick off the ten-day mourning for the numerous Corona victims in the country, it took place today (June 27) from 12 noon. The royal family appeared with a serious expression and completely dressed in black in front of the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.

Spain is one of the countries most affected by the corona pandemic. It records more than 235,000 cases of infection and mourns more than 27,000 people who have been victims of the coronavirus so far. The national flags now fly at half mast for ten days.
