After affair rumors about King Frederik and Genoveva Casanova persisted, the Mexican socialite initially withdrew from the public eye. Since then, she has only rarely provided private insights on social media – like now.
The headline in the Spanish magazine “Lecturas” hit like a bomb in November last year: King Frederik, 55, is said to be having an affair with ex-model Genoveva Casanova, 47. Paparazzi photos showed the two strolling together through the streets of Madrid at the end of October. The Mexican-born woman drew conclusions: She should not have left her apartment, where Danish Royal was also supposed to have stayed, she also turned her back on the public.

It was around mid-March when the native Mexican reported back via Instagram. “Here I am again!” she announced to pictures that showed her cuddling with her dog. Even during a visit to a VIP restaurant, you could see her smiling again shortly afterwards, reported the portal “Vanitatis”. Now there is another sign of life from the 47-year-old.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2024, she shared a particularly personal photo on social media. It shows her as a small child in her father’s arms, as her caption reveals. “My dad’s hugs…” she writes. In these times, remembering such intimate moments of unconditional love seems to give her strength.

King Frederik again criticized
While the actress’s life seems to be slowly getting back on track after the hardships of the past few months, Denmark’s new king still has to face his critics. The 55-year-old is currently recovering with his family on Easter vacation, as the Danish magazine “Her & Nu” revealed. It is his second vacation since his proclamation in mid-January. A fact that seems to anger people and the media alike.
