Three years after their last clash in the cinema, Godzilla and King Kong will meet again to team up and overcome a threat that the trailer for “The New Empire” presents to us.
Clash of the Titans will resume on April 10, 2024 in our theaters. Three years after meeting and fighting before making peace, Godzilla and King Kong will team up again. Faced with a threat that the trailer for The New Empire reveals to us, in the middle of a deluge of special effects and potentially Dantean images.
Directed by Adam Wingard, who had already signed the previous opus, the film is part of the shared universe launched with Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla in 2014. And which is currently continuing on the small screen, thanks to the Monarch series broadcast on AppleTV+, which serves in particular to make the link between feature films.

The time for a story which should mainly take place on Skull Island, the island of the giant gorilla, of which we should discover some secrets.
Starting with King Kong’s son? Of the new titans that we see here, this one is highlighted the most, as if to give us a taste of the emotional journey of the king of the place, as he prepares to face an old enemy: Scar King.

Trapped in the Hollow Earth by King Kong, in the mythology of the characters, this giant orangutan seems to be the big bad guy of the story, if we rely on the posters revealed and these few shots from the trailer . Including the one that shows him on a throne.
