Kingdom Hearts is coming to Switch on February 10 (in the cloud), a 20th anniversary event dated April 10

In 2022, the series Kingdom Hearts celebrates its 20th anniversary, and on this occasion, Square-Enix plans some festivities around the anniversary of one of its most important licenses. The first milestone will be the arrival on Nintendo Switch of the entire saga, as announced last year, and we finally know when Sora, Riku and the others will land on the console, at least in cloud.

Finally a date for the Switch version

Square Enix has therefore announced that the saga Kingdom Hearts was going to arrive on Switch in its entirety on February 10th, with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind and even the big compilation that brings together all the games, Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece. The latter will be sold at 90 euros, all the same, with a 10% reduction for its launch.

We remind you that these games will only be available and playable in the cloud, which means that it will be necessary to have access to an Internet connection to be able to take advantage of it.

A big event in April

On top of that, the publisher is setting the stage for its true license celebration, with a special event to be held in Tokyo on April 10.

During this event, we will be entitled to a mini-concert, an exhibition, question-and-answer sessions with the team of the series, and we are promised “much more”. The video concerning this event will be broadcast later, and therefore not live, which suggests that we will not be entitled to sensational announcements, but who knows.

With this special anniversary, which comes more than three years after Kingdom Hearts III (and yes already), we expect the publisher to finally start teasing the sequel…
