Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link: an information-rich trailer and a dated closed beta for the Action-RPG

Last week, the license Kingdom Hearts of Square Enix was finally being talked about again, but unfortunately not with news of Kingdom Hearts IVsince it is the other new episode announced for the 20th anniversary of the series which was concerned, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. The social networks for this episode for Android and iOS devices have been set up, with supporting illustrations, and Tetsuya Nomura even finally shared a few words to say that he would reveal some new information “next week”. The wait did not last, because it was this Monday that a teaser trailer was released, which would almost make us forget that it is a mobile game, apart from a few details.

To start, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is described as being a Action RPG based on GPS geolocationplacing it in the same category as Pokémon GO et al. However, the video clearly mentions the fact of travel around the world without setting foot outside, leaving doubts about the very interest of such a functionality. We find the customizable main character, the one dressed in white here, at Level of Awakening with a magnificent stained glass window representing Ephemer, Skuld And Chirithyall three appeared in Kingdom Hearts and its sequel Union χ, which will arrive at Scala ad Caelum following the appearance of a shooting star in the city’s skies.

It will be a question of travel to the astral plane to defeat Heartlessa world “connecting existence and non-existence” which is precisely the map with distorted proportions which left us wondering when the game was announced and which will therefore use a geolocation system. The combat sequences will involve figurines of characters known from licenses Disney or the universe of Kingdom Hearts as Riku, which are undoubtedly the “memory fragments” mentioned since it is a question of collecting character parts imbued with powers. Yes, it smells good gacha. And besides fighting, we will be able to explore Scala ad Caelumwith truly enchanting graphics for such a game. The video ends with a shot of Brain looking up at the night skies with the famous shooting star.
