Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link is organizing a closed beta for the end of the year

Unveiled last April during the franchise’s 20th anniversary celebrations, Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link has remained discreet since. A silence which did not prevent the development of the game from moving forward as confirmed by the new trailer shared by Square Enix.

Waiting Kingdom Hearts 4, players will therefore be able to dive back into the license in this mobile game that the publisher describes as an action RPG mixed with geolocation. Square Enix therefore seems to want to bet once again on this style after the success of Dragon Quest Walk in Japan. However, the trailer provides a precision that questions since it says that players will be able to travel around the world without setting foot outside.

Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link features a new protagonist, from another world, whose mission will be to hunt the Heartless by traveling to the astral plane. A dimension that seems to connect existence and non-existence together.

If for most players it will be necessary to wait until 2024 to be able to try the game on iOS and Android, some lucky ones will be able to participate in a closed beta. Scheduled from November 29 to December 8, it will unfortunately only be accessible to residents of the United Kingdom and Australia.
