It’s been a long time since the license Kingdom Hearts has not been talked about in any significant way. Indeed, since the announcements for the 20th anniversary with the revelation of Kingdom Hearts IVwhich will use theUnreal Engine 5and of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, a game for mobiles on Android and iOS which has been completely discreet since then while a beta was to be organized. We will still have to wait for news of the fourth numbered episode, but this other game finally gave signs of life at the start of the week !
This Monday, the account Twitter / X Japanese which was until then used by Kingdom Hearts Union was thus renamed to serve as Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link with a username change to @KHML_PR. The banner was therefore modified, showing us the city of Scala ad Caelum with the game logo, and a previously unpublished image broadcast, on which the hashtag #KHML was placed, so this acronym is the official one that will be used to refer to the game in the future. Is the construction site of this visual there to tell us that development is on track?
And that’s all, but let’s also note that last December, a strange coat of arms was put online by Tetsuya Nomura, now used as a profile photo, then a other visual for the beta Prototype Testpart of a beautiful artwork. The game was then expected in 2023, at least in Japanbut it now seems unlikely that it will come out well this year.
The official Japanese account dedicated to the entire license has also retweeted yesterday’s announcement. Everything suggests that we will have news soon, hopefully it will be worth the wait.
The rhythm game Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is still for sale on Amazonas Kingdom Hearts III.
