First seller of RAM does not, however, mean best RAM manufacturer. Although in the case of Kingston, we are not far from it.

Almost a year ago to the day, we confirmed Kingston’s overwhelming domination of the RAM market for the whole of 2020. Well, 2021 is of the same ilk.

Kingston occupies 78.7% market share

Admittedly, there is still no question of a monopoly in the legal sense of the term, but admit that with 78.7% market share according to the latest figures published by TrendForce, we are not very far from it.

Please note that these are figures in values and not in volumes. Kingston is of course the undisputed number one in the sector and compared to 2020 (78.07%) it even gains a few percentage points.

Over the whole of 2021, Kingston would have earned the tidy sum of 14.261 billion dollars, an increase of 8% over one year. He is number one for the 19e consecutive year. All the same.

Behind him, we find, as in 2020, ADATA which is growing slightly from 3.19% to 3.5% in market share. Corsair completes this podium with a market share of exactly 3%.
