Kirsten Dunst is not only successful as an actress, she is also the mother of two children. It is not always easy to reconcile both. And above all, she obviously misses the moments alone every now and then.

Kirsten Dunst, 41, appreciates the little moments for herself more and more. After all, the actress has two small children with her husband Jesse Plemons, 36. Son Ennis is five years old, son James is two. She is even happier when she can spend time alone.

Kirsten Dunst: “Not even the shower is sacred”

In an interview with People, she speaks more openly than ever about motherhood and reveals that she enjoys the times “when everyone is asleep and I can watch the shows I want, like ‘The Bachelor’.” Kirsten Dunst probably speaks from the hearts of many mothers. Not even the “shower is sacred,” she says, adding: “Nothing is sacred.”

It’s no wonder that the 41-year-old can’t remember her last day off. “When you have two kids, you never have a day off. Right now it’s when you’re on a plane and there’s no WiFi. And people are bringing you food. It’s like a spa day for a mother,” jokes the American with German roots.

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have strict parenting rules

When it comes to parenting, Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have strict rules, as the “Girls United” star revealed to Variety in early April. “Our children don’t have iPads. If they want to use an iPad on the plane, it’s dad’s iPad. And we’re not cell phone-in-restaurant people,” the mother of two clarified. Her reasoning: “I’m not raising a child who can’t have conversations at the table.”

The couple met while filming “Fargo” in 2015. Kirsten and Jesse went to the altar in 2022.
