Moulinex better watch out. The French manufacturer has a new competitor determined to establish itself as a serious alternative. In the line of sight, the famous Cookeo and, more precisely, the Cookeo Touch Wi-Fi.
Indeed, KitchenCook is releasing Leo, a smart connected multicooker. If 200 recipes are initially integrated into the device, its connection allows it to store new ones. A manual mode is obviously provided by the American manufacturer and allows you to adjust the temperature and the heating time. The appliance can also start cooking with a delay and stop it after a set time.
To navigate between all the options, a large 4-inch touch screen adorns the front of the KitchenCook Leo. In all, 12 preset programs are integrated into the multicooker: boiling, traditional cooking, pressure cooking, steaming, browning, defrosting, keeping warm, simmering, browning, reheating, roasting and soft cooking. To ensure proper operation of some modes, a steamer basket is supplied by KitchenCook.
In any case, the device is capable of containing 5.5 l of preparation, which is more than adequate. Dressed in a non-stick coating, the tank seems easy to clean, especially since it is dishwasher safe.
Finally, to stand out from its French competitor, the Leo has an integrated scale that can weigh up to 5 l. Currently, no Cookeo is equipped with it.
If the Cookeo Touch Wi-Fi 6 l is offered at €480, KitchenCook is lowering the bids. Its Leo pressure cooker should be marketed under the 300 € mark.
