(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of ContourGlobal (a UK company) by KKR (a US company).
ContourGlobal acquires and develops bulk power generation assets, operating 138 power plants in 20 countries.
KKR is a globally active investment company.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise any competition concerns, as the overlaps between the companies’ activities are very limited.
