In general, hobs fitted with extractor hoods are equipment with state-of-the-art technical characteristics, offering numerous technologies capable of simplifying the user’s life and creating a little “wow” effect. For all these reasons (and because they combine two devices in one), they are expensive products, whose prices are rarely lower than 1400 or 1500 €. The Klarstein Full House Down Air System is however offered at a more than aggressive price, since it was launched at 800 €.

To arrive at such a price, the manufacturer had to limit its technological ambitions, even if the plate benefits from two combinable zones; one with the pair of inductors placed to the left of the suction port, the other with the pair placed to the right. And to manage these four cooking zones, there is no question here of a touch screen but of simple sliders, like those found on entry or mid-range hobs. It should also be noted that Klarstein has only provided 9 power levels, while some more advanced devices allow finer temperature settings thanks to more levels (14, 15 or even 18). Surprisingly, the booster function (which makes it possible to temporarily increase the power of the inductors to quickly raise the temperature in the utensils) is absent. Finally, it will be necessary to do without direct access settings; a single slider is common to all the inductors and it is therefore necessary to select the one to be adjusted before proceeding with the operation.

The extractor hood is also relatively basic, even if no less than six levels of suction power are available, including an intensive mode. According to the data sheet, the maximum airflow reaches 264 m³/h, which is theoretically sufficient for a kitchen of just over 10 m². Note that the sound level then reaches 68 dB (A). It will therefore be necessary to raise your voice a little to be heard during a normal conversation estimated at 60 dB(A).

As we can see, the Klarstein Full House Down Air System cannot compete in terms of functionality with a model like the Neff T58TL6EN2. Nevertheless, this allows him not to exceed 800 €. You can even find it 50 € cheaper without too much difficulty.
