A serious traffic accident occurred in neighboring Bavaria early on Sunday evening. A 29-year-old woman from Flachgau drove her car into oncoming traffic and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The woman from Flachgau came into oncoming traffic with her car, probably when overtaking, between Schneizlreuth and Bad Reichenhall. Both the woman who caused the accident and the two occupants of the car involved were seriously injured. All three were taken to nearby hospitals by the Bavarian Red Cross. To clarify the exact cause of the accident, an accident technical and accident analysis report was ordered under the direction of the Traunstein public prosecutor’s office. The B 21 had to be completely closed in both directions for several hours for the rescue and recovery measures and for the expert recording and was only released again at around 10:20 p.m.
