Klépierre: 4.7% increase in turnover in the 1st quarter

(CercleFinance.com) – Klépierre publishes a turnover of 359.5 ME for the 1st quarter of 2022, up 4.7% compared to the 1st quarter of 2021. The activity is notably driven by an 88.3% increase in rental income net (217.8 ME) generated by shopping centers, at constant scope.

‘In the wake of the rebound observed in the second half of 2021, rental activity has normalized with 372 leases signed, more than double the first quarter of 2021’, indicates the European leader in shopping centers.

In the first quarter of 2022, Klépierre indicates that it has focused on its main committed projects (Gran Reno, in Italy, and Grand Place, in Grenoble), projects which represent the major part of the 36 ME of investments made over the period.

Klépierre specifies that its liquidity position amounts to 2.5 billion euros and ‘covers all of the Group’s refinancing needs for the next two years’.

In this context, the group confirms its 2022 objective of ‘retailer turnover at a level at least equal to that achieved since the reopening in June 2021’ and net current cash flow per share of between 2.30 E and 2.35E.
