Klepierre: change within the Management Board

(Boursier.com) — Klépierre consolidates by 3.3% to 21.5 euros this weekend in Paris. The European leader in shopping centers announced on Wednesday evening the composition of its Management Board as of June 22. On the proposal of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee, the group’s Supervisory Board decided that the company’s Management Board will be composed of the following members: Jean-Marc Jestin, renewed in his functions as member and Chairman of the Management Board and Stéphane Tortajada, in as a member of the Management Board, assuming responsibility for financial management.

Jean-Michel Gault, member of the Executive Board, whose mandate will expire on June 21, will remain with Klépierre in order to guarantee a smooth transition with his teams. After a 10-year career with the Paribas Group, Jean-Michel Gault joined Klépierre as Chief Financial Officer in 1998, before joining the Management Board in 2005. Throughout this period, he notably accompanied the very strong growth of the Group, carried out its multiple financial restructuring operations and ensured its financial communication and relations with its investors. The Supervisory Board and the Chairman of the Management Board unanimously hailed Jean-Michel Gault’s substantial contribution to the success and financial solidity of the Group.
