Klopp can finish title race
Werner doesn’t score, but still helps
Under Thomas Tuchel, things are going well for Chelsea FC: After the strong Champions League performance in Madrid, the team also did an important job at home. Jürgen Klopp, on the other hand, can quickly finish the title race. Not as hoped, however.
Thanks to a double from Kai Havertz, Chelsea FC and coach Thomas Tuchel achieved an important success on the way to qualifying for the Champions League. The Londoners prevailed 2-0 (1-0) at relegation candidates FC Fulham and consolidated their fourth place in the English Premier League.
Havertz scored both goals for Chelsea in the tenth and 49th minutes, while Timo Werner put on the second goal for his national team-mate. Tuchel’s team is six points ahead of fifth-placed West Ham United, who played one game less. In sixth place, champions FC Liverpool and coach Jürgen Klopp are seven points behind Chelsea and last place for the premier class.
