The two suspects were picked up by the national police on Monday when they had dozed off in the back of a stolen car parked in Mérignac. Aged 16 and 18, they allegedly extorted several men at knifepoint. Passing themselves off as desirable women on Coco GG (an online messaging service most often used to find naughty encounters), the two young school dropouts implied in the conversation that they were willing to pay for sexual services. Assured as well as their victims would have cash on them, an appointment was made.
Far from the alluring date hoped for, their prey then headed straight for an ambush. And on the spot, in fact, neither nylon stockings nor seductive pout, but two attackers, equipped with a knife, who stripped them of their wallets, their cell phones and their cars – when they had one.
Complaint
After 48 hours in police custody, the police officers of the group in charge of thefts committed with violence (GVV) identified seven facts followed by a complaint of which these two suspects could be the authors “with more than a high probability“.
