MATERIAL: Yarn from Lana Grossa, “Brigitte No. 3” quality (40% mohair, 37% new wool, 23% polyamide, length 100 m/25 g): 175 (200/225) g in black No. 10, 50 (75/ 75) g lilac no. 6, 50 (75/75) g beige no. 18, 25 (50/50) g ​​grey-green no. 17, 50 g copper-red no. 23, 25 g orange no. 27 and 25 g Dark blue no. 12. Knitting needles 8 and 9 (if you knit loosely) or 9 and 10 (if you knit tightly) – it is important that you get the information in the gauge.

THE COAT IS ALWAYS KNITTED WITH DOUBLE THREAD.

WAIST PATTERN: With a thin needle and double thread. Back: K 1 crossed (insert into the back loop, the M twists 1x), P 1 alternately. WS: Knit sts as they appear.

WAISTBAND PATTERN FOR RIGHT FRONT PIECE: With a thin needle and double thread. Back: P 1 crossed (insert into the back loop, the st is twisted 1x), K 1 alternately. Hinr: Knit the sts as they appear.

SMOOTH RE: With thick needle and double thread. Back right M, back left M.

SMOOTH LE: With thick needle and double thread. Knit back purl st, back knit st.

KNIT TENSION: Stocking st with thick needle and double thread: 9 sts and 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

STRIP SEQUENCE: *6 rows with beige and black thread each, 4 rows with orange and black thread each, 8 rows with purple and black thread each, 4 rows with dark blue and black thread each, 6 rows with grey-green and black thread each , 4 rows each with one thread copper red and black, always repeat from *.

BACK PART: Cast on 50 (54/58) sts with a thin needle and one thread each in copper red and black and knit 4 cm in the waistband pattern. Continue in stocking st with a thick needle in the sequence of stripes above. 81 (80/79) cm from waistband pattern, mark the beginning of the armholes on both sides – measure hanging. 25 (26/27) cm from the beginning of the armholes for the shoulders on each side in every 2nd row. Size S: 2 x 6 and 1 x 7 st, size M: 2 x 8 and 1 x 7 st and size L: 2 x 8 and bind off 1 x 9 sts. Then cast off the remaining 12 sts.

LI FRONT PART: Cast on 26 (28/30) sts with a thin needle and one thread each in copper red and black and knit 4 cm in the waistband pattern. Continue knitting with a thick needle in the following pattern: 20 (22/24) sts in stockinette st, 6 sts for the band continue according to the pattern in the waistband pattern in the stripe sequence given above. 81 (80/79) cm from waistband pattern – measure hanging – mark the beginning of the armhole on the right side. 25 (26/27) cm from the beginning of the armhole, work the shoulder and the neckline at the same time: work the shoulder on the right side as on the back piece, bind off 3 sts for the neckline on the left side and then dec 4 x 1 st in every row .

R FRONT PIECE: It is knitted in stocking pi (appears on the inside) so that the thread change is in the side seam! Cast on 26 (28/30) sts with a thin needle and one thread each in copper red and black and knit 4 cm in waistband pattern for the right front piece. Continue knitting with a thick needle in the following pattern: 20 (22/24) sts in stockinette purl, 6 sts for the band, continue according to the pattern in the waistband pattern for the right front piece in the stripe sequence given above. 81 (80/79) cm from waistband pattern – measure hanging – mark the beginning of the armhole on the left side. 25 (26/27) cm from the beginning of the armhole, work the shoulder and the neckline at the same time: work the shoulder on the left side (when the knitted side is up!) as on the back piece, for the neckline 3 sts on the right side Cast off and then dec 4 x 1 st on each row.

SLEEVE: Cast on 26 (28/30) sts each with a thin needle and one thread each in copper red and black and knit 4 cm in tie pattern. Continue knitting in stockinette st with a thick needle in the sequence of stripes above, increasing 10 sts on the first row = 36 (38/40) sts and then for the arm diagonals inc 5 x 1 st on each side in every 8th row = 46 (48 /50) M. 36 cm from waistband pattern – measure hanging – bind off all sts.

Elaboration: Sew the shoulder, side and sleeve seams. Sew in the sleeves.
