You need:

(Size S / M / L)

A little bit of time. About 22 hours. And otherwise: two yarns. We opted for the Lana Grossa quality “Lala Berlin Lovely Cotton” (75% new wool, 25% cotton, length 90 m / 50 g): 200 (250/250) g ​​each in white-green No. 22 and nougat No. 4. Also: Knitting needles 7 and 8 (if you knit loosely) or 8 and 9 (if you knit tightly. Plus 1 cable needle.

That’s how it’s done:

Waistband pattern With a thin needle. P 2 sts, K 2 sts alternately.

Straight re: With a thick needle. Right back M, back left M

Braid over 14 sts: With a thick needle. 1.R (Hinr): P 2, K 10, P 2. All backs: Knit the sts as they appear. 3rd + 5th row: Knit the sts as they appear. 7th row: P 2 sts, 5 sts on a cable needle in front of (on left front piece and left sleeve) or behind (on right front piece and right sleeve), knit the following 5 sts, then knit the 5 sts on cable needle, 2 sts left 9th, 11th + 13th row: Knit the sts as they appear. Always repeat 1st to 14th rows. With two-tone braids, cross the threads on the back and make sure that the tension threads are not too short.

Knitting sample: Stockinette st with a thick needle: 12 sts by 16 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back part: With a thin needle 28 (30/32) sts in white green, then cast on 28 (30/32) sts in nougat = 56 (60/64) sts and knit 4 cm in a waistband pattern – cross the threads on the reverse side at the color transition, in Distribute 8 sts on last row – inc 4 sts in each color = 64 (68/72) sts = 32 (34/36) sts in each color. Then work with a thick needle in the following pattern: 25 (27/29) sts in stockinette st, 14 sts in cable, 25 (27/29) sts in stockinette st. Mark the beginning of the armholes on both sides 28 (26/24) cm from the waistband pattern. 18 (20/22) cm from the beginning of the armholes work the sloping shoulder and the neckline at the same time: For the neckline bind off the middle 16 sts, knit 2 sts together for the cable stitches and bind off directly and the 6th + 7th cable stitches already in the 2. Cast off the color. Finish both sides separately, dec 1 st 4 more times on every row to round the cut. For the shoulder incline on both sides in every 2nd row size S: 2 x 7 + 1 x 8 M, size M: 3 x 8 M, size L: 2 x 9 + 1 x 8 M, bind off.

Front part: Cast on 28 (30/32) sts in nougat with a thin needle, then cast on 28 (30/32) sts in white green = 56 (60/64) sts and knit 4 cm in a waistband pattern – cross the threads on the reverse side at the color transition, in Distribute 8 sts on last row – inc 4 sts in each color = 64 (68/72) sts = 32 (34/36) sts in each color. Then work with a thick needle in the following pattern: 25 (27/29) sts in stockinette st, 14 sts in cable, 25 (27/29) sts in stockinette st. Mark the beginning of the armholes on both sides 28 (26/24) cm from the waistband pattern. Cast off the middle 10 sts 42 cm from the waistband pattern for the neckline, knit 2 sts together for the cable stitches and bind off directly and bind off the 6th and 7th cable stitches in the 2nd color. Finish both sides separately, dec 7 more times 1 st on every row to round the cut. 18 (20/22) cm from the beginning of the armholes for the sloping shoulder on both sides in every 2nd row, size S: 2 x 7 + 1 x 8 M, size M: 3 x 8 M, size L: 2 x 9 + 1 x 8 M, bind off.

Left sleeve: Cast on 24 (28/32) sts with a thin needle in nougat and knit 4 cm in the waistband, inc 4 sts on the last row = 28 (32/36) sts. Continue with the thick needle in the following pattern: 7 (9 / 11) st in stockinette st, 14 sts in braid, 7 (9/11) sts in stockinette st, inc 9 x 1 sts every 4.5 cm on both sides for sloping arms = 46 (50/54) sts 46 cm from waistband every sts Cast off, knit 2 sts together for cable stitches and cast off directly.

Right sleeve: Knit like the left sleeve, but in white-green.

Elaboration: Close the shoulder, side and sleeve seams. For the neckline with a thin needle, start in the middle back, inc approx. 80 sts – each in the corresponding color of the back and front piece – make the color change in the middle of the braid in the middle front. Knit 14 cm rows in a waistband pattern, then cast off all sts – when changing colors, cast off the last st of each color in the new color. Close the seam in the center back and sew half of the band inwards. Sew in the sleeves.
