While the official title of the film “Knives Out 3” has been announced, the continuation of Benoit Blanc’s (Daniel Craig) investigations has already found some of the members of its cast.
Notice to fans of the “Knives Out” franchise, Benoit Blanc is returning to action soon! The Hercule Poirot-style detective played by Daniel Craig is back for a new investigation in a third film, after Knives Out and Glass Onion.
If the first part was released in cinemas and met with great success, its sequel Glass Onion, released on Netflix in 2022, was a real hit, to the point of being among the 10 most viewed English-speaking films on the platform.
No wonder the American giant is granting Rian Johnson another sequel, which will enter production very soon. The director has also revealed the official title of this third part – Wake Up Dead Man – and a first teaser on the networks which announces a completely different tone from the first two films.
“At first the knives came out. Then the glass shattered. But my most dangerous investigation is about to be revealed”warns the voice of Benoît Blanc in the teaser published on social networks.
What casting for “Knives Out 3”?
If we should expect a darker part with Wake Up Dead Man, we can also hope for a dream cast, as for the first two films. And the information is already starting to be revealed, since two names have been announced by Deadline !
Alongside Daniel Craig, we will find two young talents on the rise, namely Josh O’Connor (The Crown, Challengers, La Chimera) and Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla, Civil War, Alien: Romulus).

We do not yet know for which roles they have been chosen, nor what the plot of this third film is. Rumors announce the participation of Lindsay Lohan and Tom Hardy in Wake Up Dead Man but we will have to wait for official confirmations.
The Wake Up Dead Man film goes into production next month and we can hope for a release on Netflix in 2025.
