Kobe Bryant: Appointment for his memorial service is particularly important

The shock and grief over the sudden death of ex-basketball pro Kobe Bryant (1978-2020) is still deep. Fans and athletes all over the world pay tribute to the Lakers star. As the New York Times reports, among other things, the official commemoration will take place on February 24th. The ceremony will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and is said to be open to the public.

It is no coincidence that the celebration takes place on this day: the date is made up of the shirt numbers of the NBA legend – number 24 – and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna; the aspiring basketball player wore number 2, she will also be remembered at the funeral service.

The father and daughter were killed in a helicopter crash along with seven other people on January 26.
