Vanessa Bryant (38) recorded the first steps of her eleven-month-old daughter Capri, the offspring of basketball star Kobe Bryant (1978-2020) who died in January, in a video. She then published the short clip on Instagram and wrote: "My baby! So proud of my Koko Bean. Capri took her first steps from Aunt Sophie to her mom today." In the video, the widow holds her little sweetheart in her arms after his first attempts at walking and gives Capri several kisses on the cheek. Vanessa Bryant's daughter grew up without her father and sister Gianna (2006-2020).
Five-time NBA champion Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter were killed in a helicopter crash near Los Angeles on January 26, 2020 with seven other people. The cause of death of the former Los Angeles Lakers player and the eight other victims was reported to be injuries from the helicopter impact. Thick clouds of fog over the city are suspected to be the cause of the crash. Kobe Bryant left behind daughters Natalia (17), Bianka (3) and Capri in addition to wife Vanessa Bryant.
